Unhappy Rushmore Washington 2013 Fireplace & TV

Just got our unit back from Crossroads in Topeka IN. They had it since 12/2013. Now the fireplace will not heat up?
Now the TV doesn't work?
Ran the TV wire directly from the dish through door and connected it to the receiver and the TV will work. Running it through the unit NO TV? We tried every connection available?
Can anyone Help?? DirecTV

I don't have a fireplace, but from what I've read on here, there is a switch on the panel that allows you to decide if you want the electric water heater or fireplace. It must be in the fireplace position for it to work.

Did you connect the dish to the satellite connection outside? If so did you connect a cable from the satellite connector inside to the receiver? If so, it should work. If you don't have a dedicated satellite connection from the outside in, you have to disconnect the antenna amplifier for the satellite to work.

Contacted CR about the new problems and they are sending us a new fireplace, no switch in ours. Mark also said they would send a tech to fix the satellite TV problems. We think that the cable just didn't get connected back together when they rebuild all of the slides. Satellite TV will work when you run the cable through the front door, but not when you connect to the satellite outlet.
