I climbed up on the roof this morning and removed the a/c cover. The base of the frame holding the rear coils (evaporator? condenser?) is rusted. It is my belief that this should NOT be happening to a less than two year old a/c. I'll have to find a dealer in the Sanger/Denton area to fix this issue. I know CW is a Cruiser dealer as is ExploreUSA. I use ExploreUSA in San Antonio so maybe I will try them.

No it shouldNOT be and either a dealer or Dometic needs to take care of it. Camping World is a certified Dometic repair facility and the one outside New Braunsfels took care of our Dometic AC issues under warranty. Let us know how it tuns out Art.

I am waiting to hear from Dometic. We have a local Pilot Point Dometic service center handling the claim. Hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow. Dometic has a Dallas warehouse so the parts would be next day to the repair shop. I was told the shop would repair the a/c the day they tell me to bring it in so we will not be out of it overnight. As soon as the a/c is repaired I will get on cleaning the rust streaks.
