RV Carport

Well when we bought our TT back in January I wanted to get a cover on it before going through another winter. After looking at metal carports I decide that for just a few hundred dollars more I could build a much nicer one. Took me about 5 weekends start to finish (still need to add some gutters) but it's a 22'x30' footprint with about a foot overhang all the way around. buried the posts about 4'-6" deep so its not going anywhere! Keeping the sun and weather off of the roof when not in use should extend the life of the roof for quite some time. Not to mention might help fight off the whole sun faded front cap that all of these new TT's are prone to. Here are some pics in case anyone else out there is thinking of doing anything similar.

Very nice. Was thinking about doing something like this after I finish the garage I'm building.

Our 3 year old son does a lot of "backyard camping" between trips lol, and I might have to raise the roof a bit as well to get that big ol' rig you have in there

Very nice! Wish I could build one but it'd have to be a double-wide to accommodate my two 5ers.
