RV covers

Has anyone used the Adco RV covers???
Are they good for winter storage with lots of snow??
I have read some reviews and one problem I see is the rain gutters seem to pop through. I was going to get Styrofoam Balls cut them so the slide over the extensions. ???
Right now I see camper World has a great sale on them.

Crossroads does not recommend using them on their Rvs.

From the Crossroads website.

Should I cover my RV with a tarpaulin or canvas when it is not in use?

It is not recommended that your RV be wrapped with any type of cover. The rubber roof material needs to breathe and be allowed to dry thoroughly to prevent mold and mildew. According to the roof material supplier, the chalky look of the rubber is normal. Parking under an overhang or in a large garage is acceptable.
But the final decision is always yours.

ok thanks. I was going to put it in the underground storage but if that worked I would just leave it out . so underground looks like it is going to be.

Wow! That might be worth dragging mine down there for that. I pay $60 a month for secure outdoor storage.

Well on the 8th of November my trailer is going in storage there. It's only a 4 hr drive and it's going to save me a $350 for the winter. Even factoring in two tanks of gas it's still coming out ahead and I don't have to worry about the snow on it now.

Thank you very much for posting that link!

I have mine in indoor storage in Painesville, OH. The guy charges $15/ft for 6 months or $25/mo outdoor.

How about the AC unit on top of the rig? Should that be covered? I'm just getting geared up to winterize my ST270BH for the first time. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it in my driveway or at a local storage place. Either way, it will be outside.

Thanks!
Mike
