Sani-Flush Hose Connection

When you connect a water hose to this connection what tank does it flush? There's nothing in the manual that tells you what this for?

The black tank. Be sure you leave black tank drain valve closed til it's time to drain/flush, never leave it open while in use. You can leave the gray valve open til a day or so from draining the black, drain/flush black 1st & use gray to rinse the sewer hose with.
When flushing the black, you can close drain valve to fill a bit into the tank for a better rinse (I do this 3 maybe 4 times), you can also add a healthy squirt of liquid dish or laundry soap to aid in cleaning then fill/rinse til no more suds, but NEVER EVER leave it unattended or you WILL have a VERY unpleasant mess in the bathroom, & believe me you will not be the first one to do that.

Correct ...black tank ,should have the words ..."sant.i.flush. sewer connection should be open when operating". ...on the connection . Do not use full pressure ,,just open tap 1/4 turn ...if not the unit under your bath sink will leak . And make sure that thing under sink is very tight. Keep an eye on it ...

This is good info. I've been flushing mine now for 3 seasons. I connect my hose, turn it on full, then begin my flush. As the water is flushing I will wait a few minutes, then open the black tank valve...then, I'll close the valve and wait about a minute and open the valve. I do that about 3 times. Then after my final drain, I place a dishwasher pack in the toilet along with 2 cap fulls of calgon water softener, then add more water to the black tank. Luckily I've never had any issues under my sink using full pressure, but I never knew NOT to use full pressure, Thanks!

NEVER, EVER, turn on flush and walk away. neighbor did and water went up vent pipe and came down inside walls. I put a valve on the flush hose at the tank to ensure that water would not fill black water tank. Some time ago, wife told me water was coming off roof. water valve was leaking and filled black water tank and water went up vent tube onto roof. luckily, commode valve was tight and did not flood bathroom.
