Satellite questions

2017 Sunset Trail 290QB
Anyone have experience mounting a satellite receiver inside a Sunset Trail or similar?
Not sure where to mount it. I will connect the dish to the satellite connection on the back of the rv. Then run a small coaxial from the satellite Jack above the entertainment center tv down to the receiver. Just don't know where to squeeze in the receiver.
From the receiver I can run HDMI to the tv. I think the outside tv Jack with mounting bracket is only for cable. This also has me wondering how I get satellite to an outside tv?

I can't speak for your model. I know sometimes you have to be creative. On mine I made a mount in my cabinet above the tv. It had to be at an angle because it could not fit otherwise. Yours is probably different than mine. My buddy also made a mount for under his tv on a shelf. As far as the outside, it's also my understanding that is a cable connection only. Haven't used mine yet. I plan on running a coax out to the outside from my inside receiver, probably with a splitter when I wish to use it.

Someone with your model may speak up about what they did. Good luck.

Unless it it pre-wired you have to be creative...

Is your tv a smart tv ?
You might look into wireless genie's for the inside connections,
they even have wireless hdmi too (which is an option)
