My wife and I just took delivery on our new cf37bh. We're very happy with it but I have a few questions. I was dumb founded as to what a scare light was, after a little research I found it to be the light out front. I turn the switch on and it doesn't come on. I read a few other posts that say the button is on the remote. And once activated by the remote you can use the switch. I don't have a remote. So now what do I do ?

I also was looking for an owners manual ? I didn't get one from my dealer and have a call into him as to why I don't have one. Is there one I can download, maybe in PDF ?

Our scare light didn't work either, while doing our PDI, the rep, just flipped the switch & I assumed it worked. After I got home & found that it didn't, I 1st checked the fuses, & found them to all be ok. I then checked the bulb & checked it for continuity & it too was fine. I then pulled the switch out, & found that the power wire, had come off the back of the switch, problem fixed.

You may have a loose wire at the switch or the socket and possibly some corrosion in the socket that prevents the light from coming on and maybe a defective bulb. The remote (if you get one) operates independently from the switch...if you turn the light on with the remote you must use it to turn the light off (a bunch of us know from first hand experience).
