I have a Bunk House 31 Zinger and I am looking for a screen room to put on the side without screwing it to the Trailer. Any suggestions?

I am looking at a Patio-mate from BJ's. Because of the Grandchildren, I need something that will contain the little rug rats. I was trying to avoid the screen house that attaches to the Awning.

I had a motorhome and I had the add a room screen room that was attached o the awning, to say it was a pain is really being nice, way to much to put up, and if you need to get it down during a storm you were really in trouble, the last time I used it I deposited it in the dumpster at the campground....if you want a free standing tent type it may work, but stay away from the awning type.....just my opinion..

We had some friends that had one for their Class C. They ended up getting rid of it because of the pain it was to put up and tear down.

put the kids on a leash and tie them to a tree. just kidding. i have no experience with the type that attach to the awning i've just seen them at campgrounds. it sounds like they are no good. i do have a 12'x12' e-z up tent with screen netting attached to it. we've used it a bunch of times, works good. you can leave it assembled and just lower it down with the screen attached, in case the wind picks up. got mine from a local store called sports authority.

Too many people around to tie the grandchildren to a tree!

Valium won't work either! We season the trailer and have a deck added on the side. I do not want the Awning screen Room. BJ's has a Patio-mate with screens. I guess I'll have to stick build a frame and see if it will be strong enough without screwing into the trailer.

Thanks for the help

PS I am Surprised no screen room exists that could attach to the trailer without screws.

The Patio-Mate is sold thru BJ's or SAM's club and is a great addition. The great part is you can get them in different lengths AND width. Some models extend 12' from your camper. They range in price from about $700-$1200 at the big box stores.

Hi; i am new to this forum. i hope that i am in the right area for my post. A couple weeks ago i tripped upon a web site that showed a screened in florida room that was on a trailer. it was pulled right up next to your living in trailer and gave you an instant florida room. Does anyone here recall seeing such a unit. i have forgotten most of the details. This is why i am trying to find the website. i believe it is a 'crossroads' product. thanks Skip

We use a "table tent" for when the bugs are bad. The screened rooms that I have seen attach to both the awning & the trailer.

If I recall corretly Shade Tech has some options for screening that can be added to a EZ UP type of canopy . I'm sure if you do a search for Shade Tech you should find something. I though it was available at Dick's Sporting Goods.
