Does anybody know what kind of sealant CR uses around the lights outside their trailers.

I had to remove the 2 turn light on my GT29BH and it was not silicone sealant, it was harder than silicone.

Just want to see. If not I will reinstall them with regular silicone all around the lights.

Thanks for the help!

If you are talking about sealing around the light fixture and out onto the fiberglass, this what I use.

Just make sure you clean the area good with alcohol.
Regular silicone isn't recommended. I'm sure others will have opinions also .

Dicore is a self leveling sealant. Normally used on the roof around vents, skylites, etc.

ProFlexRV (made by Geocell) works great for all those outside RV caulking issues, except on the roof, where Dicorself-leveling sealent would do a better job. Camping World sells it.

X2 on ProFlexRV, it's what the dealers use for seams, windows, etc; everything except the roof then use Dicor.

Why not use the Dicor, non self leveling version?
