Has anyone found a good system to support the sewer lines while parked for a long time period? Have seen the accordion plastic ones that keep falling over and don't stay in place but nothing really good as yet. When we are parked at our lot on the golf course near home we have a permanent setup but we are looking for something portable.

I use the accordian plastic support with no problem. I made five long velcro strips that I use to strap the hose to the support in five different places. This seems to make it more rigid, maybe thats why mine doesn't fall over. Use it like this for three months while snowbirding with no problem.

I have the plastic fold up hose thing too but I have seen many use a piece of plastic rain gutter.

Denior,
I have seen something on RV.NET whereby they used a fencepost he sawed in half and he stored his hose in it and when he hooked up he used the fencepost to support the hose. I have actually thought about doing this mod myself. If you cannot find it let me know and I'll try to see if I can get a link for you.

Here's the link:

We use a piece of cheap guttering from the local Home Depot store. It came in a long section (I think 10 feet) and I cut it in half for two short sections. One section fits inside the other and you can adjust the length you need. I made a small "horse" out of pvc to support it on either end. It's light and can easily be stored in the basement compartment or you can slide it inside a large pipe type holder.

I use the "slinky" like Dale and Carol and tie it with short rubber lines that came with it. It also came with small plastic feet to keep it from falling over. Has worked great for 3-4 years now.

I took a 20' piece of 4" schedule 20 [lightweight]pvc and cut in 5' lengths. Then saw outabout a1/2" piece the length of one piece, a 1" piece outof one & 1-1/2" piece out of one. Insert in the same order inside the full 5' piece after you spread to install flex hose inside and telescope to desired length. This only works for straight runs of course and will need to support about three points.
I slide it together and carry in under frame tube. If the ends are off the flex tube, you can leave it in the support pipe.
