Leave everything plug at the house. 24 7. Refeigerator is always stock with beer and freezer 2 gallon bottles of ice. Once a week Run gen, and both airs 30 minutes. Battery check once a month.ocasionally take the slides out. Now winter is here time to fire up the heater and get that stinky smell out of the registry. Also good Idea to check for leaks after a rain. I also leave the water pump off kitchen faucet open. Gas valve on tanks usually shut.

I would think leaving it plugged in all the time would put wear on the converter

If that was the case, full timers would be constantly replacing theirs.

Was that because you left it plugged in all the time?

I left it plugged in all winter, but I think the reason it went out was cause the cooling fan went out. I'm sure it want make it go out to soon but using anything puts wear on it.
