I have a friend that just purchased a 2011 Crossroads Zinger ZT-25-RK. The big seal for the slide out needs to be replaced. Anyone know the best place to purchase this and if it's difficult to replace. Here's a couple of picks of the bad seal.
Timing is everything!! I just finished replacing all my seals this past week. Mine looked like the picture - yuk. I installed black ones so the dirt/grime won't show as much. The bulb seal came from RVupgrades.com for $ 82.00/35'. The wiper seal base came from Tweetys.com for $171.00/35'. Measure the wiper seal as it comes in different sizes. I needed two of each for my three slides. Removal is relatively easy (pulling staples wasn't fun!) but after removing staples be careful pulling off the old wiper seal as it is stuck on with tape and you don't want to crack/separate the siding from the plywood. Cleanup is the next issue as it took a while to clean most of the tape and caulk residue off. Installation is pretty simple but you will need a narrow crown staple gun with 1/2" staples for installation. I did one slide at a time so I could refer to the others for reference. Hope this info helps.
seals on 2011 cruiser were white as well and the top seal was like gum. Redone mine in black. My flap seals with the slide were ok. Just had to replace the bulb seal. Replaced with black seals. Seal on top AP part number 018-522 (40 feet) and slide side # 018-312 for 35 feet. Have Amazon Prime and seals were the cheapest I found. You may just have to replace bulb seals.
