Slingshot slide out

I was looking at the new Slingshot floor plans the other day and noticed that CR has stopped offering the "small" slideout which was equiped with Schwintek mecanism.

Does anybody know why they changed the smaller slideout for the deeper bigger regular ones?

Is it for more room or did they had problems with the small slideouts?

Just wondering.

I have a 2011 29BH with the "small" slide. I'm guessing they went bigger for more space, and I also noticed that the new (2013?) 29BH has a major floor plan change over the previous models.
