Squeaky hot water faucet

Both hot water faucets (kitchen & bath) squeak when turned on, any suggestions.

My hot side in the kitchen does the same thing....annoying and sounds like it will break someday.

Look for mice inside the water lines.

Just a little silicone grease on the plastic threads and seal.

I replaced both the facets, the add a spray nozzle to the one in the kitchen, and larger facet in the bathroom. I found that the one they had was to close to the sink and my kids would just make a mess. I also replaced the one in my outside kitchen to a spray handle too. Makes life so much easier.

Dustin, where did you get the replacement facets? what model did you get. my wife wants the spray nozzle in the kitchen as well, plus a taller one in the bath.

Lowes. The facets are all the same size, but instead of the cheap light weight plastic. I had to drill a hole in the counter top for the spray nozzle. But you can buy the facet that is also the spray nozzle. Huge difference.
