I have a new 2012 Sunset Trail 29RL which has the electric stabilizer jacksfront and back. After the trailer is leveled, I still get a tremendous amount of movement in the trailer. I have the wide stance axels but any movement in the trailer and it's really noticeable. I have considered putting a third set of stabilizer jacks just in front of the tires to maybe help the situation. Any suggestions???

make sure your chocks are really tight under the wheels. You can also buy a set of x chocks (buy the extra wide/long size for wide stance axles). You can find them here. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/r...k-extended.htm

X2 on chocks. Next would be a set of JT Strong Arms or equal.

Definitely the X-chocks. There was a question last week about the movement, and someone else suggested blocks under the stabilizers - so they don't have to extend as far.

This is a common problem with the higher slideout units.

I have the wheel chocks on our rig, and I had them on the last 5er, but nothing has ever stabilized it like a set of stabilizers did. There are different brands out there but this is what I installed.

Thanks folks for the suggestions. Think I will give the X chocks a try and see what the results are. My unit is at the dealership getting a few issues taken care of.

I use wheel chocks and a tri-pod on the fifth wheel pin. Wonder if they make something similar for yours. Stabilizing the front of the fifth wheel makes a big difference.

Old Farmer - you are probably right! We've been trying to keep on top of this, but the spammers have figured out some new tricks. Thanks for keeping us alerted to the issue.

If you have the eqa-flex on your camper...the JT's and similar products will help but b/c of the suspension, it will still move quite a bit.

I can feel every movement in the camper. The Solution? I am going to install another set of jacks just infront of the front axle, just taking a little bit of weight off is going to make a major difference.

I have the equa-flex, and when set up there is "no" wiggle in the camper.
