When jacks are cranked down, they will not stay tight. they slowly turn backward. Anyone with similar problem? Sunset Trail 250 RB

Yep, thought my buddy was backing them off but no. Have to adjust next day

Are they backing off, or just sinking into the soil. Do you put any type of support under the stabilizers?

I have the scissors type and sometimes have to tighten them up especially if they are off the pad and in the grass. The board under them settles into the ground.

I have pads under them. The screw unwinds very easily. Noticed in article supposed
to have washer to keep it tight. Don't see it.

Not sure why the nut would back off, but here is an inexpensive solution if you have stabilizers like these.

Good information Mark5w. I have the electric jacks on mine but my neighbour has the scissor jacks on his and has had problems of loosing their support. Also had one come down while driving and wrecked it. Not sure if they have a gizmo like that one that would act like a safety pin when in the up position.
