Step problems
I got a set of Lippert solid steps for my birthday. I had to cut down the lip on the threshold with a grinder because ours is not a removable threshold. 1998 carri-lite. We still had problems with the step piece laying flat and the door wouldn't close. I took an east wing hammer to it to flatten it out a bit and that seemed to do the trick. However, when we went to latch them in, it turns out we had the wrong size steps and they weren't wide enough. We returned them and ended up getting morryde step above because they were the right size. The steps were wider, so more grinding and cutting, but these just won't lay flat. Metal too thick for the east wing. I have a trip on Sunday, so taking it to camping world tomorrow to see if they can do anything. This has been hours of work and very frustrating.
Has anyone had any experience with these steps?
