Swintech slides

My dealer told me that they are no longer using the Swintech slide system. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Interesting if that's true. From what I have read here it's can be problematic system.

Looking at pic of several 2014 Cruisers, still using the Schwintek slides on the bedroom slide out, even the big bed/wardrobe ones. But no evidence of them on the main slides. In at least one picture, I could see standard electric slide below the slide out floor. So your dealer is probably correct.

Good call by Crossroads, others have dropped that design due to owner issues.

What are the known issues with the slide? Our 2014 has them so just curious.

Leaking along rails, inadequate rollers to support slide floor, weak/stalling in-wall motor, synch/timing issues.

We had an issue with our previous SOB 5er's large bedroom/bathroom schwintek slide when we first got it where it would get out of sync and bind...

Our dealer found that they had the opening 1/4" too narrow and one side would drag and bind, they trimmed that and it worked fine from then on...
