So this weekend while my wife and I we at the pool with my daughter. My son and his friends who were supposed to be watched my friends on the next site were in the camper filling up water guns at the sink. Evidently they didn't know that the water had to go somewhere and they not only filled up the grey tank but the shower stall, the bathroom floor, and the rear bunk slide out.

We took beach towels and mopped the floor and walls. and bailed out the shower enough to get it to the dump station without sloshing water everywhere.

I have it home now and borrowed adehumidifierand have it running now. Anything else I need to check or look over?

If you have any high speed box fans blast the wet area. That will assist in the drying process.

Also, be sure to spray the carpet and wall board with Lysol, this will help hinder the growth of mold and mildew. I would run the dehumidifier for the next week or so and be sure to leave the windows open at all chances to allow good air movement and drying.

Good luck!

+1 on the lysol. I have used it on carpetsin basements that get wet and it kills mildew before it gets started. A carpet cleaning guy put me onto it.

The error in their ways was driven home and I'm sure it is one they won't forget for a while.

A reason I removed the water guns from the5ver. The argument with the DW was less hastle than having to do what maskins has to do.
