Does anybody use one of these on their Honda?
If so, what's your opinion? Do you think they will do what they are suppose to?

The handle in the Honda 2000 is all plastic, so even if you chain it up, somebody could cut through the handle and steal the generator. The bracket is meant to stop somebody from doing that.

Old Farmer Hello. I guess anydeterrent against theft makes sense. I own the Honda and I really like it. It is expensive but it fulfills its hype. Saw this item on a Camping World site today. Same price. Makes sense to me , however, I did not buy it yet.

Well the bad thing is if they really want it. They will find a way to take it. We just have to make it harder to get. Even if you use that. They could cut the chain or lock with bolt cutters, unless it's heavy duty. I actually thought about installing an outside alarm with a sensor directed down at the generators so it doesnt pick up everything. But there again it might pick up a cat or something. I would say if you had those on the handles and purchased a really heavy duty chain with a heavy lock thats would be difficult to cut would work. Makes you think though.
