Those with Steady Fast

This is the first full weekend camping since I installed the Steady Fast system. It has worked great taking out about 85 percent of the shake. I was wondering for those using it, Will you always feel some shake? and should I still put boards under the landing gear or should I let the feet go right on the ground if parked on concert or gravel. Just wondering what you guys have found to be the best set up to get the most out of the Steady Fast system.

I still use a piece of 2x10 (about 10" long) for a good base to sit on. I used to carry a few pieces of 6x6s about 8 inches long, but I just put the legs all the way down now.
I have the ultra fab eliminators.

I love my Strong-Arms...and yes you will always get some shake...it's a given...but it's so much better than without them. I have been told that after setting up...to maybe readjust them a day or two later...after your unit has had time to settle...I don't know for sure...I haven't tried it yet...we've had 4 straight days of rain and cold weather here...perhaps tomorrow when it is nicer I'll try it.

Did you get the big pads from Steadyfast? There web site recommends a v-shaped block under their pads. I've always tried to keep may jacks short but that means more blocks to haul.

I have JT StrongArms, and have found that it we're on concrete pad, then there is virtually no shake. If we're on a gravel pad, I've found that there tends to be a bit of settling. If we're in that kind of site for several days, I have to tighten up the rear stabilizers a bit. I don't use any big blocks under the landing gear and stabilizers other than a piece of 2X8, 12 inches long. By doing that, I get better triangulation and a more stable trailer.
