Time for tires.....

The tires are almost 5 years old. We have to be ready for tropical storm or hurricane evacuation. I've looked at the GY G614 tires. Wow, they're pricey. I see a Hartland all steel G rated tire at Discount Tire. No reviews on line. Anyone heard of them?

I looked at the Michelin XPS ribs. They have great reviews. I feel I would need to weigh the fifth loaded before going to an LT. No scales near us. Opinions?

The Rushmore's are heavy rigs...I would maybe stick with the GY....that is what I will replace with on mine when it is time instead of the "E's" that are on there now. The rims on mine are rated to take 110-psi so I am good there....good luck

Goodyears are good. Get heavier ones than the originals as all factory tires are marginal in their weight limits.

I upgraded my tires and rims before I picked up my Cruiser from 85 psi to 110 psi. Personally I prefer LT tires but there are endless pros and cons online. Most trailer tires are limited to 65 mph which tells me they are not as strong as LT tires.

The CR Redwood rally is scheduled for August & several are upgrading to 17.5 H tires & several will have low mileage Gs with wheels for sale at probably very reasonable prices.

I am currently located in anaheim,ca. I have 4 Goodyear G14,s with ri8 lug rims for sale as well as an e rated Goodyear spare with rim. The G 14,s have app 8000 miles on them and the spare is new. Anyone looking to upgrade from their E tires I have a hell of a deal for you. I attached a pic of the rims

Woodwalker, can you deliver, or won't the Denali make it across country?

That looks like the same wheels that our Rushmore has. Did the Redwood come with the G rated tires?

I replaced my tires last year with Goodyear Marathon Tires. I have over 8000 miles on them so far so good. Very happy thus far.

My rv service guy recommended Hercules F rated tires. Thinkin I'm gonna give them a shot. No way I'm gonna pay $350 a tire for GY G614 tires with their track record. A friend of mine had two fail on his Montana.
