According to their website, Castle Rock does not make a 15" E rated tire. They are either C or D rated.

What’s your max cold psi rating? As I understand it 80 psi is E. rated, 65 psi is D rated, and 50 psi is C rated.

Sounds like you have D rated currently. If I were you, I would go up to the E rated. You will be golden then.

Anyone know the best place to order these from with the best price. Dealers close to me don’t carry them. Yea, I live in the sticks. Lol

Correct.
Cost me a trip to the dealer to repair wheel well area, as well as, replace the tires. Had tire ins. thru Good Sam, and trailer ins. paid for the repair. Still a bad deal to occur less than a year since purchase and the mileage. Good Sam roadside assistance was a life saver, for those who may want to explore that optional purchase.

Thanks I seen them, thought it seemed like a good price. Probably the best deal I would assume.

Papa-T, I replaced the one that blowed out on my spare tire carrier for 138.67, which included waste tire disposal, new heavy duty valve stem and mount and balanced. this was at discount tire in albuqurque n.m. I have 2500 miles on them now and I wouldn't take my money back for them. mine was a st225 /75 r15. they are E rated 10 ply tire with dura wall technology and scruff guard. I run 75psi in mine although it states 80 pounds max. the ones on my trailer axle seem to make it pull easier, could be just my imagination too. LOL. hope this is helpful info

Not China Bombs either.

Might check sidewall for country of manufacture. They were distributed by Tredit tire. They import Chinese bombs. They imported the infamous Mission tires. I am a believer that the Chinese can manufacture as good a tire as anyone, but not at the price the RV industry is wanting to pay. Thankfully, some companies are beginning to see the light.

If you use a tpms, get metal valve stems also at time of installation.

So I checked my Castle Rock bombs for the date of manufacture and their (1415). Probably only have only 2500 miles on my tires. I know that I’m doing the best thing by replacing them. But it really irritates me that I have to spend $605 for five new tires (replacing the spare also), plus having them mounted which at my local shop will probably be $25. I’m sure it’s cheaper than fixing my 5er if one blows and tears into it. Just venting here but man it really chaps my a**.

You might have to invest in some Gold Bond lotion to take care of the last issue.

We installed 4 GoodYear Endurance Monday at Fountain Tire in Canada, estimate price was $751.00 (installed, balanced, new high pressure valve stems, plus remove the spare and install and balance another tire)then there was a mail-in rebate of $40.00 less. BUT, after everything was done and get home turns out the rebate was for commercial use with this tire so called the man at Fountain Tire and he honored the rebate at the store and reimbursed the installation and high pressure stems of $58.00. Final price just under $700.00CAD. Like I said to the young tire store manager that with his good customer service he also just sold another set of 4 tires for the truck come next spring...

Well I can order five Goodyear Endurance tires thru Discounttiredirect.com at $120.99 a tire but then cost $15 a tire to mount and balance them, ($679.95). I found my local tire shop can get them for $135 a tire with free mount and balance ($675). So no brainer; support my local shop and a little cheaper price anyway.

Better jump on that deal. yea I hated buying new tires to replace new tires, but now I have piece of mind knowing I got a U.S. made tire following me down the road.
