I had a blowout this weekend, the tires are the stock Mission ST235/80R16. They are just about 3 1/2 years old. Time to go ahead and replace them all. I am having a hard time finding the right tire. Good Year marathon have the size, but thare are rated at 3420lbs @ 80psi and the Missions say 3520lbs@80psi. Plus the GY marathons are made in China and that worries me. I looked at Michelin, but can't find the same size. Another choice was Maxxis, but don't know much about them. They are also rated at 3420lbs@80psi and made in Tiawan.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Rick

Did a search late 2009 when I replaced tires on the PF36SK, and went with Maxxis. Price was comparable (not cheap) and feed back was good. They appear to be holding up well. (pressure checked before each day on the road).

I replaced my tires with the BFG</span> Commercial tires. They are a little taller than stock but ride and have great tire ware. I am very happy with them.

Maxxis makes an E rated tire in the size. They are the best of the ST tires as they are not made in China.

What weight axles are on your trailer? Guessing 6K lb axles which means each tire has to be rated at 3K lbs or more.

Maxxis is made in Thailand from what I see.It also looks like 99% of the trailer tires are made in China.I tried to buy Goodyear in a E 15 and contacted Goodyear by E mail and was told they didn't make my size but did make larger size in E in China. I talked to my tire dealer and bought what he had saling for years and hadn't had any problems. Its all a crap shoot seems like.

I installed Goodyears last year load E 225/75/15 sidewall stamped USA. If I recall correctly date was a build date 26 weeks 2010.

Here's the link from TireRack.. I would call them and have them confirm Country of Orgin

I have plans to put 235/85R16 Goodyear G614s on our Fuzion. Removing the 235/80R16 oem Carlisles. Lots of good reviews on them. They are pricey. But since having issues with oem tires on all our RVs, peace of mind is priceless.
