Not really a mod but hopefully an upgrade I will benefit from in more ways then one.
With the new truck setting higher then the old one. I have been agonizing on how far to go with it. I'm only 1 in. out of level front to back measuring from the frame to the floor. I have moved the hitch down all the way and only have one hole left in the pin box. Don't really want to go there, it seems to close to the bottom of the camper to suit me. So I decided to go with 16 in. tires. I will gain 1/2 in. at the tire line and I'm hoping it will level it up more front to back. Dealer will take my wheels and tires in on trade, get me a new set of 16 in. wheels and tires for $100. That sounds like one heck of a good price to me. Goodyear--225/75R16 LT, Wranglers. They are E rated, and I was concerned about having to run 80 psi, but he informed me that was only required if you were running max weight on them. He stated I would be good at 60-65 psi for what my rig weighs. That's good, because I was thinking if I had to run 80psi it would just pound everything to pieces. We'll see.

They'll look similar to the old one's--white spoke. They're--HNM.

You only put chrome on a PP.

Sounds like you have a good dealer there Lloyd I did not think there where any mods left you could do on a PU for $100. It should come close to solving your problem. You can experiment with the TP to suit your needs. Good luck. Post pics of those baby moons!!!!!!!!!!!!!
