We are in the process of purchasing a used 2011 Zinger ZT26BH. While inspecting, we noticed that there are two low point drains, one red, one blue, under the unit. Then just about 6 inches in, there is another red line hanging down. Since our previous campers only had the two, I am wondering if this is from the factory or a modification as well as the intended purpose. The salesman doesn't know the answer. Can you help solvethis mystery for us before we finalize the purchase.

Its not the water tank drain is it? I don't know why it would be red, but it's the only other drain that I know of.

I'd bet JKGrizzly is right. It is probably the fresh water tank drain, although I don't know why it would be red.

Do not have these on my unit but the trailer next to us does have a red and blue line coming out under the unit. Not sure why so maybe check with your dealer. Let us know what the result is as I am curious.

Happy campin'

I have a 2011 Zinger with THREE low point drains. I assumed one was hot water, one cold water and I know the third (behind the back wheel and hard to see) was the fresh water tank. Mine are all white, not color coded.

Thanks for the responses. We are going to pick the unit up next week so the salesman told me that he would check into it, but he believes that this was a modification by the previous owner. I will post a follow up when the mystery is solved.

The red and green low point valve correspond to the hot and cold water line respectively. There is a third drain for your fresh water tank. The water heater can not be drained by either low point valve because there is a check valve in the cold water line to the WH, which is the lowpoint of the tank. The WH tank is drained from the outside by removing a separate plug on the tank itself.
