Harleyhal, good afternoon, I hope you are safe and well in GA.

All the above advice is valid and well worth considering.

I used a double elbow mount I found on Amazon, it cost about $15 and is excellent, whatever you choose I'm sure you'll be happy with.

Now here's my personal advice and experience.

I have a quick release on both my TV's in Harvey. I removed the bolt that acts as the hinge immediately behind the VESA mount and replaced it with a simple pin I can pull out and thereby detach it from the mount in seconds.
(after unplugging the HDMI, power and cable connections of course)

This way, I can stow both TV's face down on my duvet and they have never moved an inch during transit. Much better in my opinion than having that weight cantilevered, hanging off a 1" wall stud or 3/4" particle board backer plate.


I wonder if I should be HondaJohn.....Hmmm

I am using Mount-It for last 2 years and it is working fine for me.
