Unblocking seasonal camper part II

I recently asked for, and received, advice on unblocking a seasonal camper. Virtually everyone advised me to drop one side 3-4", then the other side until it's down.
A good friend of mine, with much experience blocking/unblocking seasonal campers, advised raising the front (using landing gear), and removing blocks in front of the wheels. Then drop the front to remove the rear blocks.
Do anyone of you see any problems with this method?
Thanks, Eric

As long as it allows the tires to clear the blocks - that's fine...

good luck
