Ok experts, I know someone has had this situation in the past. The factory roof vent in the bathroom has a crack in the lid. This is the vent that is a manual crank open/close with a push button to turn on the little fan. It appears to be the same vent that is installed in the living and bedroom areas from the factory. Can the lid itself be replace or does the entire vent need replaced? If I can replace just the lid I would prefer to do that but if the entire vent needs to be replaced I will probably just go with a MaxxAir cover or something like that to cover it so it doesn't leak.

You can replace just the lid. Takes about 5 minutes.

I have replaced both of ours and both have been covered with MaxxAirs since day one and still rotted. With taking the covers off and replacing the domes it took about 15 minutes per vent.

You might want to bring the old lid with you when you purchase the new lid. The lift arms have different lengths of travel.
