Hi All,

I recently bought my first camper, a 2011 Sunset Trail 29SS. On my second camping trip, the power jack failed. Upon calling my dealer, i learn their service appointments are a month +out. SoI am supposed to go a month hand cranking this thing? If you have had the pleasure you know what i meanI would rather have the old fashioned crank installed at least as a temporary solution.

So, is it typicalfor a warranty item to be treated this way? I do have email into Crossrooads directly to inquire about this.

Thanks for any advice.

Dave

You can take your rg into any Crossroads dealer/service center for repair. You can also take it into ANY repair center for repair and Crossroads will pay for the repairs as long as they get pre-approval for those repairs from Crossroads.

Started our fulltime adventure; has become a 'shake-down' cruise. Am in contact with customer srvc @ CR and should be able to take the rig to CW in Myrtle Beach, as long as they are talking with each other, for warrenty work. Refrigerator does not cool as much as I think it should and storage comp. door hinge ripping apart, couple more openings and closings and I'll not have a door there, will be an opening covered with duck tape! Oh and recessed light fixtures burning bulbs faster than the factory can produce, and they are expensive! Keep telling DW, "it's all part of THE adventure!!

Ruck, if it weren't so far from your place to Topeka, Indiana, it would be worth it to schedule a visit to Randy & team to get that one checked out.
