My 2011 Cruiser 32CK is going to the shop for warranty work on the roof. The roof has serious problems and is unsafe touse. Unfortunately we paid our non-refundable seasonal lot fee of $1500 last month. It will be tied up in the shop for several weeks. Has anyone had any luck in getting a loaner rv in a circumstance like this?

Sorry about the roof problems but I have never heard of a loaner rv.

I have never heard of "a loaner" but there are some dealers that have rentals. That would be a bummer to have a new rig tied up for part of the season.

Tent????

What problems do you have concerning your roof? If you share the details other owners can be on the watch for similar situations.

Thanks, Bruce (B&B)

The problem we are having is with the roof of the cruiser which has started to collapse...visually noticeable when looking at the roof...also causing ceiling panels to buckle and crack inside

You need to call Randy Mischler at the factory. We had a problem with a roof truss collapsing on our '07 cruiser. Sent Randy pictures, made an appointment at the factory and they had the problem repaired in about six hours.

unfortunately Dalemac377, it won't be that easy for me....living in canada it is going back to the dealer... once there theywill take more pics to send to Crossroads..assess further the damage, order the parts, then repair it.....definately a good chunk of my our 4 month camping season

If the damage is that extensive, maybe the factory would pick it up, repair it, and return it. Just thinking they may want to work with you so they can see what in the world could have gone wrong in the manufacturing process to cause this much damage. I still believe it would be completed much quicker than chewing up most of your camping season. Just trying to be encouraging.

Yes, I am thinking along the same lines as you, I have called and left messages for Randy Nielson VP customer service, and Janet Fanning yesterday and today and am waiting on a call back from either.

Send a message via Yahoo to mwebber78

You called the wrong people. Randy Mischler is pretty easy to contact, call the Crossroads number and ask for him at the repair center........

Good advice Mike. I should have mentioned Randy Mischler at the repair center in my earlier posts. Thanks.
