I am posting this for my inlaws as they dont have a access to computer (hes old school).

they bought a crossroads cruiser patriot in august 2010 brand new. they have been having issues since they have own it. we use it out at our property for hunting and fishing. the parcel of land came with 30 amp service for rv as thats what the previous owners had it wired for. it works great even tho the trailer is rated for 50 amps.. the questions we have about warrenty is we have had problem with the slide out and when you run them back it clicks out and jams the motor up or sheers the pin. we have had 4 out of the 5 slide out fixed and the kitchen slide out fixed twice. the camper dealer said that its not covered under warrenty and have about 1000 dollars tide up in just that. we just updated the power service to 50 amps. plug it and the power inverter is smoking. its no wired as 220 either.(we made sure of it and had close family friend who is journeyman electrician do the work for us). on top of that the slide out jams agian. the dealer said that the warrenty doesnt cover these things for the rv. they have bought 4 new trailer from them in the past. my reall question is is this true that warrenty dont cover these things? also its a 2 hour drive from our site to the dealer at 4.00 a gal for deisel.

so what does the crossroads warrenty cover or is our dealer taking advantage of us. otherwise its a very nice spoacious trailer, pulls down the road like a dream, and the furnace and ac is sized just right.

Their unit came with a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty so the dealer is lying to them. You or they need to contact Crossroads tomorrow morning and speak to one of the customer service reps. If you have kept those receipts for the work the dealer said it not covered under the warranty they may get some or all of that money back. Do not waste anymore time on that dealer and get on this quick since it is about a month from the warranty expiring. Crossroads may have to get Lippert involved but at least call them and get the ball rolling.

If the wiring at the site was recently upgraded and there were no previous issues with the inverter then I'd start with some basic diagnostics of the power source.

The Lippert slides are very simple: motor, ram, cog rail, bell-stop, and jack plates. Many of us have adjusted our own slides, so I'd be suspect of any dealer who can't figure out the adjustment and is creating a reoccurring slide issue. Just a thought, call Crossroads and either find an independent repair shop or another dealer through them.

we will make the call tomorrow. its a great trailer but theyse things needed to resolved. it almost like the ram buttoms out before the slide out is tight.. we will re adjust ourselves since we are thinking thats the problem. they have been really loyal to the dealer but they says its not that. we will find out tommorrow. if it was our fault on the 50 amp service is it still under warrenty since its bumper to bumper? im pretty sure it isnt but we will find out next weekend
