Water Heater - No Water Output
2009 Cruiser 30SKP - Atwood GC10A-4E Water Heater.
Water flow (not temperature related) was working fine up till this past weekend. The wife and I happened to both be using hot water side of faucet in kitchen and bathroom when we suddenly both lost water flow. I have tracked it down to the back of the water heater. There is plenty of water supply going in to the tank. I got a picture of the threaded output fitting and there is some sort of white plastic disc/plunger that I could push back with a screwdriver, with no resistance. So what type of device/fitting is this? Atwood parts diagram that I have found does not show any type of fitting. I would think it would not be pressure relief, since it has that device on front. Temperature valve? I hooked it all up again and got same results. I think whatever valve it is has failed. Any guesses? or just replace with a straight fitting and be done with it.
