water leak

I backed into a tree sometime back and wiped out my ladder. Last weekend I replaced it with aftermarket ladder that was only 11" wide vs 12" wide on OEM ladder. When I shot the bottom most screw in I noticed a few drops of water coming out the screw hole. I backed the screw out and a few more drops ran out. Where could this water be coming from?
I used Dicor self leveling generously on roof where mounting holes were
Very concerned about water damage.

I could be completely wrong with your model but I do know on ours that both the front and rear caps on ours build up some condensation if heated inside. Enough sometimes to see it leaking out the bottom.

Thanks for your reply.
Did you do anything about it? Where exactly did it leak out from?

I never saw my back cap leaking yet but I am sure it does. Ours is a 5th wheel and the front cap leaks out by the pin. I was inside the front cap insulating and that is how I noticed all the condensation. I'm thinking it is normal but you would not want the fiberglass insulation touching your cap. I had a foil barrier that came loose also so I repaired that and repaired all the insulation that had fallen down so I am thinking this will help.
Once again, I'm not sure if this could be your issue or a minor leak around window or roof seam.

If you can't find the leak yourself you can call a business named::Sealtech Manufacturing USA 810-310-3070 and ask if someone near you has their system, the SEALTECH 430R...They have a system similar to a whole house fan that finds leaks...

Great idea thinks. After I get on top and check out all seams I will give them a call if I do not find anything.
I would not think you would have a seam leak issue on a 2016 RV but who knows will all the quality issues everyone is experiencing these days.
