Water line low point drains/water tank drain

Hi just wondering if anyone knows the size of the waterlines in a 2016 Sunset Trail 25rb, they look smaller than 1/2" I was wanting to add shut off valves vs. the screw caps. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Cut 1/4” off of the end. Use that to get the right size. I thought it would be 1/2 inch.

I did it and its one of the most useful and "bang for the buck" mods you can do. I do think they are 1/2".

It’s the little things that make us happy. If you haven’t added a battery shut off switch do that to.

On my cruiser the water tank drain is 1/2" . Went to Lowes and got 1/2" SHARKBITE fittings. Work great -easy to install and can be removed.

Just a word of caution! On some CR models they ran the fresh water tank vent out the bottom also (usually connected to the small screen opening next to the fill opening), if so & you add a valve to the vent be sure to open that valve when filling or you could rupture the tank.

Thanks all for the advice.
Yup, the battery disconnect has been installed, big difference.
I also don't know where the fresh water tank vent is, there is only the drain and the hot/cold low points coming out the underbelly. I do notice when I fill the fresh water, the tank burps quite a bit back at me.
