How about a pic of the 60 vette?

If you've noticed I don't have my Cruiser pic back up(on the new site)

But I'll work on it

I got some Meguairs NXT and took the trailer down to the shop on Sunday. Turned out really good, but that is definitely the only time I will do that without an orbital buffer. Thanks again for the advice guys!

I used the Turtle Wax Ice last year on my trailer and my car and wasn't happy with the results.. I think this yearI'llgo back to one ofMeguairs' products.

Nufinish also is abrasive, I used it on a beater I had and it cleaned it but dulled the finish.

Stick to a non-cleaner wax.

Sure you can...just gonna be a heck of apain in the (_o_), if you know what I mean. You'd wax it for the same reason you wax your TV or any other vehicle, to protect the paint! Do a 2'x2' section and see how it comes out. You're gonna definitely want an ROpolisher with that corrugated siding, IMHO!

I did some research a while back on wax products for RVs and I believe just about all of them stated that they were not good for vinyl (decals). I know when I wash or wax I always wash away from the edge of the decals but just wondering if anybody has had decal problems with the wax they use.

Iuse Gel Gloss and have always waxed the decals with the trailer. MaybeI am lucky but I have never had any issue with the decals peeling or fading. I probably just jinxed myself..........

Our first 5th wheel had the aluminum siding and it can be waxed. It was no fun, but I did it......once. I decided then and there that I would never wax that camper again our next camper would be fiberglass. That being said, our first camper was used and had lots of black streaks and did not look like it had ever been waxed before. I am sure if it had been waxed a few times the job would have been a lot easier for me. I tried an orbital buffer on itbut gave up and did it by hand. I found it too hard to manipulate the buffer on the siding with all the ridges. (I do our current camper by hand too.) I think that if you take your time and pace yourself, you will be fine. I usually do our 5th wheel like this. Day 1, wash front cap, area under cap, and back of camper then wax those areas. Day 2, wash door side then wax. Day 3 wash slide out side then wax. I don't mean to imply that I do this on 3 consecutive days...just that it usuallytakes me 3 days.
