Our Polar equipped Seville 35 sits at the RV Park all year. Winter Temps here run from 20F to 50F
So for our first winter use, suggestions welcome!
Heated water hose we have
What about sewer hose?
Leave hot water tank on?
That darn water filter, should it be wrapped?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks/Brian
if just using for the weekend, just fill the water tank. You won't have to worry about heated hoses, filter, etc. Just use the sewer hose when it's time to dump, dump when it's above 30F.
I would agree with HHH. With only 2 people the black tank can last 20 to 30 days before it has to be dumped. During that time I'm sure you will find a warm enough day to dump. I'm sure you know, thought of this, but you have to keep some heat in the RV, at least 40 to 45 degrees.
We stayed in our Seville down to -5F, and nothing froze. The heater ran a fair amount, and the floor was cool on the slides. Dumped whenever the tanks were full and made sure there was not a low spot in the sewer hose to freeze up.
