- I've had the trailer (2007 Cruiser 27RL) since new, and have never used the oven.

- Wanted to try some nachos last weekend, and went to light the over...and nothing!
- I feel kinda stupid, adn am thinking that there's something easy I'm missing?

-I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong???

- All help is appreciated!

Oven pilot lights need to be lit each time. A long snout butane fireplace/grill lighter works perfect, or fireplace matches. You need to set the knob on pilot, press in and hold lighter to pilot flame area (usually at back under bottom rack). Once pilot is lit you can then turn the knob to temp desired. Just remember when you turn off oven, the pilot light goes out.

Hope this helps.

- Now I feel stupid!
- I was trying to light it with the "ignitor" that I use for the stovetop!!

- Oh man, I never even thought that I had to do it manually.

- Thanks for the info! delqcc.

You might have to hold the pilot knob down for up to a minute to allow the thermocouple to warm up and signal to the gas valve to open. After releasing the knob, check to ensure the flame is still lit.

...might help to light a burner on the stove for a few seconds to get gas in the line if you have not used it for awhile....might speed up the process...
