I have a cheaper alternative. I removed the inside skylight cover and placed a sheet of Reflectix over it and put it back. On our last trailer I used some curtain block-out lining material. There are a number of things you can can place in there to block the light, and the best part is if you change your mind or sell the thing, you can easily remove them.

One person I know painted theirs. That's kind of permanent.

Used Limo window tiny on ours, others have used the stained glass film for door windows.

Funny how one person's trash is another person's treasure. I actually like the skylight in ours. We don't need lights during the day and it doesn't disturb us at night. Its opaque tho, not sure how much light everyone else's let in. Ours seems to be just right.

It wasn't that ours let in too much light, but the time of day it lit up, since retirement we don't need/want to be up at the crack of dawn anymore.

They sell tail light lens tinting paint at WalMart. That's another alternative.https://www.walmart.com/ip/Rust-Oleu...Black/17203471

HA! #retiredpeopleproblems

My 4YO doesn't sleep past 7. Doesn't matter how late she stays up.

mine acted up under warranty, 50 miles to dealership so they sent me a new one and I installed it myself. The led is part of a circuit board attached to the entire light assembly and does not seem to be replaceable without replacing the whole unit.

With the new led lights you can not change the bulb the whole fixture needs replacing. I have replaced 12 out of the 24 in mine and the new ones seem to be holding up better
