What is your favorite 6 volt battery brand?

Picking up my new (to us) 2015 Sunset Trail ST240BH on Sat 8/27. My first mod will be to replace the single 12 volt battery with two 6 volt batteries in series.

I'm trying to find the "sweet spot" between price and performance, and thought I'd ask what you all think is the best brand for the money?

Thanks!

I'm a firm believer in -- you get what you pay for.
I have two, Trojan T105 batteries. I wish I had payed a little more and got the T145's. Not that there is anything wrong with the T105's, it's just that the T145 have more amps.

I too went with 4 T-105 trojans from www.continentalbattery.com to replace my HUGE L16's that came on the coach....
it was a decision for me in that having the room for L16's I had three choices, the 105's, 145's, or the L16's...

I had to decide were we 'boondocker's' that needed the days of power and therefore had to double the outlay for the L16's or....

The wife would NEVER boondock, so the 4 105's have done well to power ALL our appliances including the Microwave for short stints...

Costco carries 6 volt golf cart batteries by Interstate (Johnson Controls) units that might be a good value to check out.
