Hello ; Just wondering which power awning is being installed on the new 2013 25rb 's. and how high are they when you are walking around the awning area ...ie: will a 6' person wack his head on one of the bars when the awning is in the out position??I still like the manual awnings as I can unhook the bar from the bottom of the trailer and put it in the vertical position ....

thanks

As far as I know Crossroads is still using the A&E (Dometic) power awning. A person six foot tall, or taller can easily walk under ours without worry of hitting your head.

thanks , cause I just talked to a dealer near Toronto and he said he has a new 2013 with a carefree awning ....i think they have a criss -cross pattern on the arms and the part that is more on the outer end is jutting down and can be a forehead banger.

The Carefree does have a scissors type structure which may hang a little lower than the A&E, but I don't think iot would be a head banger.

when at the factory rally, a rep had told me that they were switching brands this fall. the new ones (possibly carefree??? can't remember) were supposed to have an integrated led light strip embedded in the tube.

I think your right Happycampers, I also recall them talking about this and I'm pretty sure they said Carefree. I like the idea of the built in light strip. Too bad we won't be buying a new unit for a while to get this.

Heard the same thing as HappyCampers while at the rally.
