Who Watches TV Outside?

Thinking about getting a tv for the outside of my trailer, wondering if anyone here watched tv outside.

I haven't yet, but would if I had a Satellite dish and service. But as warm as it gets here, I enjoy sitting in the AC.

Never have. What little TV we watch doesn't amount to much. Maybe a little in the evening to catch the news----if we have a signal.

We watch TV outside often... mostly big games, we have direct tv and a vucube so no issues with signal.

We only have a TV in the living area. Hubby is more into that than I am.

One thing I cannot figure out is why they put speakers on the outside of the trailer from the CD player/radio inside. What would make me think that other campers near me are interested in the same kind of music I am?

It depends on the volume you have it set at. No difference than having a radio or tv playing outside. Plus, with the awning extended, it keeps the sound down.

Now that would depends on how high or low you had your awning.

Also depends on how close your neighbors are! We mostly stay in Texas state parks or private properties and we do not have close neighbors - so we can watch tv or listen to the radio (at a volume that the neighbors can not here) most of the time we are outside.

Occasionally, I'll hang the TV from the bedroom on the hanger outside and watch it.

Same here, the TV in the hauler garage has the same bracket as outside. Depends on the weather of course, most times it is much more comfortable to be inside. When we are at the car shows we host the club picnic and hook up xbox to the outside TV for the kids (or to a projector for the big kids).

Parked across the street from an outside tv at a KOA last summer. How annoying. The sound was not the problem, It was the flickering light dancing across my site, well into the night. Your right to do what you want stops at the edge of your site. Be a good neighbor.

Pretty sure I've made the decision to buy another tv for outside. I was going to wait until we got to Florida and buy one down there if I decided I needed it but WalMart here has a pretty good deal on a 28 inch tv right now.

My campground is kind of isolated, don't want to drive 20 miles to get a tv if I did decide I wanted it.

We have a TV outside all the time and we are not the only ones. I've even seen some large movie projection TV's set up on sites. Most of what we watch outside is sporting events. We do our camping at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach. When the weather is nice we spend all the time outside except to sleep.

Here's a picture I took at American Heritage in Williamsburg. This was my first trip with this camper.

We have one to watch NASCAR races. Uses the same mount as in our garage so when not camping, the TV is used in the garage. Did American Heritage in November, nice campground but tight.
