This weekend I went through and did a full inspection, function check and wash/wax on my unit. I found this broken connector on one of the propane bottles.
That doesn't look good!
I think you can pickup a hose at just about any RV dealer. They usually have them in stock in various lengths. Just take your old one with.
Yeah, I was a bit surprised. My trailer is stored indoors all winter, but it isn't heated. I leave the LP connected (bottles turned off) during storage. I suspect the plastic failed from the extreme cold we suffered this winter.
I find those short hoses tend to be quite inflexible and I always turn my tanks a bit to take the most pressure off of the connection. This winter didn't help much for most units stored outdoors with the extreme cold.

Wow...that just happened to me that I posted in another thread. I thought I would check propane before we leave out. Gas was off. Actually on, but one tank was empty. Connector on full tank was broke so automatically shut of full tank. Dealer gave me a new one and I replaced myself. They sell them everywhere.
I picked up a new hose assembly and installed it. The dealer said these break all the time. He said it is usually from kids stepping on them or the side stress of a tight hose on a cylinder positioned poorly.
