Is there a step-by-step guide to winterizing an RV? I assume that you empty the potable, gray and black water tanks and then put pink antifreeze in each, then run pink antifreeze through each faucet/shower. What do you do with the hot water heater? Can it be drained? Can it be bypassed so you can run pink antifreeze through the hot water lines without filling the tank?

Thanks,

On the forum home page there is a winterizing forum that you can get all the info you just asked about. Easier than trying to type it all out. You are very close in your thinking though.

You don't have to put A/F in the holding tanks. You should put it in the drains though, about 1 cup each.

I've got to look at the various categories on the forum more closely!!! I never noticed the winterizing category!
