Worth replacing?

What are your thoughts should I try to replace this or try to fix it? Where would I go to replace this? I think my neighbor at storage broke it but he is denying it. If you were to fix it how would you do it? I was just thinking Gorilla tape on the inside, or try to plastic weld it. I would have to go to Harbor Freight for that and practice before I attempt fixing.

Thanks in advance.

My buddy had a fender skirt that was damaged from a tire blowout. He found a company that manufactures them. Recently someone on this forum gave a company name. If the don’t chime in, I’ll try to get the company name from my fiend and pass it on to you. He did have to trim off several inches off an end though. Looks terrific.

They do crack usually from over torquing the screws. Drill a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it from cracking more.

First off, it's not fiberglass. JB Weld makes a 2 part epoxy for plastic is what I'd use on the inside, at least til you could find replacements if that's what you choose.

That JB weld is junk. This repair kit bonds to almost everything. Non-shrinking polyester resin bonds to metals and plastics. With the fiberglass cloth and resin it will be a much superior fix than the JB stuff.
How do I know. My good friend is vice president of an epoxy company that produces and tests other brands of epoxy. His exact statement "Use the JB weld for model cars."

Yeah. I did this fix on my previous 5th wheel. The fiberglass mat reinforces the fender. I ran the mat across the top where the holes are. Redrilled the holes and used a rubber washer on the outside of the screw with a speed nut on the back. After 3 years, it never recracked.
I did refinish the outside with polyester resin on the crack, and repainted with automotive finish made for plastic bumpers.

Amazon also has a large selection of rv fender skirts on there web sight. I did see some for Crossroads but you will need to match up the correct size and color from there choices. I bought some for our previous camper and they were a perfect match.

Our old Ford Transit vans with double back wheels in England used to have an option of black rubber flares.

They withstood all manner of nicks and dings and just flexed back into shape if you clobbered them going through width restrictions.....I speak from experience.

They never ever cracked or fell off.

Does anyone make something similar for RV's I wonder, and if not who wants to joint venture with me...?
