We are looking at a new 5th cf31rep patriot/provincial floorplan? 2011 model, is there much diff. between, the cf31re model. We are new to the Crossroads brand and wonder if this would work as a 3or 4 mo. onthe road each yr. Is there anything we should ask our dealer about up front, to any problems with this brand. JIMAR

The patriot addition offers a lot of options in a single price package that is cheaper than ordering the options separately. I believe there are a couple of options you can't get unless you order the patriot version, one is the rear electric jacks. Also the new 2011 patriot versions have a flush floor on the bathroom/bedroom level where the regular RE model has a step up from the bathroom floor to the bedroom floor. As to wether we would buy another Crossroads product, I guess the answer is yes because we our on our second cruiser. I am sure others will pass along more info to you.

I would get another Crossroads product. I would not spend the winter in it in either northern Illinois nor in southern Michigan. Hope that's a temporary situation for you Mike.

If it werrn't for crossroads there would be no camper at all. We have spent 4 winters in our Zinger. 2 in SC and 2 in Fl. Plus our other trips.

Just sold our 7 yr old Cruiser. We spent about 850 nights camping in it, everything still worked (well I did have to put a new converter in), and we got 50% of what we paid for it. New 2011 left the factory on the 22nd and is due at the dealer any day.

Other than the flush floor, the only item on the Patriot that is not available on standard Cruisers is the Rotoflex pin box ( I asked) and maybe the pillow top mattress (didn't ask). My new 32MK has dual pane windows, 50 amp service with 2nd A/C prep, rear electric jacks, the 7 function remote and a number of other options.

I like the new cruisers they are building today. The have great floor plans and most of the things I look at when buying our PP. When we buy our next 5th wheel I will look at CR without blinking an eye. I guess you can find fault with any of them but every time I had a problem the CR service team was there to help.

Sure would, and as a matter of fact I'm trying to figure out how to trade mine in on the upgraded model.

So far I have only camped in it once. Loved it. It is in getting some warranty work done now. I will let you know after I see how well they do with their warranty repairs.

Heading into the 4th season with our unit.. If and when we get another we'll consider CR very heavily. However, nothing out there right now gives me that WoW factor or gotta have it.

Yes we would buy another Crossroads too! Our 2010 CF31REP, has 16" aluminum wheels, corian kitchen counter top, 50 amp service, larger refer, larger a/c, electric rear jacks, prep for 2nd a/c, rotoflex pin box, electric awning, & pillow top mattress. This is standard on the Patriot model we have. The new 2011, alsohas intelli jacks, remote for the slide & awning & an electricfireplace. Edited by: FFFord

If they made Class C's I'd have my 2nd Crossroads right now. Love the CR product.

No, I would not buy another crossroads, I have had 3 and they have all been good units and the factory support is 1st class, but we want to move into something with better quality, crossroads builds a good low end unit and a good mid line but they are not into the upper end, were either going with an Escalade or a mobile suite, we just nedd to unload the unit we have..

I would pick the Mobile Suites, I really like their focus on the upper end product. KZ is a good product but they are similar to Crossroads - they make a bit of everything for everyone. Carriage, Mobile Suites, etc. are built for the sole purpose of full-timing.

Good luck and enjoy your shopping mbinohio!Edited by: mwebber78

mbinohio, I think that's an honest and fair assessment of Crossroads products.
Your choice and you certainly don't need our advice, but after having seen the Mobile Suites at the last RV show I can't imagine it ever being a bad choice.

Good luck with the sale of your old unit!

Yes, we would buy again!!!! We're looking for a motorhome although we are keeping our 5th wheel so that we can take my 85 year old mother with us to a southern destination for the winter. I only wish I could buy a Crossroads Class A.
