My husband & I just bought a Sunset Trail Reserve 25RB, after using a pop up for 15 years of camping with our 3 kids. Now that the kids are grown, so has our taste in campers! Kids are a little upset right about now. Haha! No more cranking the unit up & down, packing, unpacking, re packing, drying off canvas, putting poles together for the awning, zipping on/off porch...our backs will thank us! We will take delivery the first week of April, or sooner. Can't wait to have it in our driveway, let alone go on the first trip with it.

Congradulations on the Sunset Trail The kids will like it a whole lot more on the first trip, less for them to do also

We camped with a pop-up, also, for about a dozen years while our three kids were growing up. It was a great way to see the country, and the kids got to go to a lot of places they otherwise wouldn't have seen if we'd been forced to stay in hotels and eat in restaurants all the time. My wife and daughter cried about 12 years ago when we sold the old Jayco pop-up and the new owners towed it down our driveway and out of our lives.

My wife and I always knew we'd get another trailer, and, as we approached retirement, we bought a 325CK Cruiser Patriot a little over a year ago, waiting for the day when we can spend part of our winters someplace other than Minnesota. No more cranking up the camper, as you said, and now, with just the two of us, we have a trailer tailored more to our tastes and needs than to those of a family of five.

Enjoy your new toy. We've enjoyed ours a lot aleady.

Congratulations, you will luv your decision. I still have a pop up in the back yard, the kids grew up and didn't want to come with us anymore, then grew up some more and started coming with us again bringing the little ones with them.

I bought them a popup......... apparently once you have your space, you don't really want togive it up.

Its fantastic they come with us camping again and they were elated with the pop up I bought them, there really is no life like RVing........

Thanks Birdland...my son lives in Clio...halfway between Saginaw and Flint. In 1979I lived in Owosso for 9 months, worked for the old Ann Arbor RR there. Go back every year to see friends I made there 34 years ago. My son was born in Owosso and 2 weeks later he came to WI. Seems like everything comes back around at some point.

Enjoy your unit, I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun.

Jim
