Just bought a Volante 310BH
Hey All,
I just purchased a Volante 310BH. It's getting delivered 2100 miles from the dealer who got me the best deal (with shipping factored in).
Quick question if anyone can help. The Volante doesn't come with a TV. Does anyone know what size the opening is? I'd like to get the TV ordered up.
Also, other than the sewer hose, water hose, black flush hose, power cable (I think the dealer is providing this) what does a new RV owner need to make sure to have? I'm a total newbie to this. I used to tent camp, but with 3 (going on 4) kids we needed something like this.
Thanks!
Sean

Hey Sean
We purchased that same model earlier this year and have loved it. The items listed will be sufficient to get started. We were newbies this year too, and we've found a few things along the way that we needed/ make it easier (50 or 30 amp extension cord, water filter, x-chocks, adapters for 50 to 30 amp and then 30 to 15 to keep camper battery charged while parked, additional hose for flushing black tank.... I'm sure I'll think of more

And the opening would probably accommodate up to 42" but I'm not sure how well it would travel

Thanks for the replies. Just got a call today that they found a bent axle on the trailer so they are switching me to a different one and adding the second ac so it's the same as what we were going to buy. If all goes well the new trailer will ship on Wednesday.

Whats the plan now? Was that a delivery service. or did the dealer still own it?
That's a bummer!

Well I'm on vacation in Alaska right now. Soon as I get back I have to take it to a local service center. They saw the pictures and said it's a warranty thing with the top not glued down right. The only issue is that they say they need a week+ to fix it and we're supposed to leave with it 5 days after I get back. It will be tight. I bought it this year to do this one trip and we may not even get to use it for that.

Have them work with/pay towards a RV Armor roof, takes 2 days & they come to you to do the install, then NEVER worry about the roof again except to rinse it off occasionally.

Well today I get the trailer back! The roof damage was covered under warranty and they approved them to replace the entire thing. Happily the local shop is patching the existing one up enough for me to go camping this next week with it. I will bring it back after for the replacement.
