New RV'er

Jumping in w/both feet. Never RV'd before but we bought a 2008 Crossroads Cruiser 5th wheel in March, sold our house in July and living in our RV until I retire in October and head south for the winter. Wife and I and 2 cats are finding this a steep learning curve - lol.

Will be checking out the forums for advice, encouragement, and info.

Thanks!

Dave

Welcome aboard!
You certainly did make a big jump. Hope all goes well for you.
If you find along the route you have questions, feel free to ask. There is usually somebody here with the correct info.

By the way, if you would insert your rigs make, model and year in your signature, it will be easier for somebody here to give you the correct answer to any questions that might come along. That way we will all know just what camper you are talking about.

Congratulations! I too just bought a Crossroads Cruiser 5th wheel. Mine is a 2011. You really took a big jump into RVing. I plan on retiring June 2016 but I'm a little afraid to sell everything and live fulltime in the 5th wheel. We plan on taking long trips but still want a place to go home to. Hope everything works out for you!

Thanks for the warm welcome...timing's everything and DW and I felt the time was right to pursue a freer lifestyle, but we'll always have our roots firmly in the Midwest. Looking forward to all the adjustments...keep telling ourselves the folks in covered wagons making this trek had it a whole lot harder than we ever will - lol.

Good luck. Feel free to ask any questions. DW and I will be there in about 12 years. Can't wait to full time
