we just bought a new trailer and don't take delivery until next spring. It has 2 dump connections for grey water and 1 for black. Does anyone have an idea on which would be best way to hook these up when parked for a few months. Do not want hookup and disconnect each time we want to drain tanks. Also we will be travelling so the solution must be portable. When we are at our summer location at the golf course I will use ABS pipe and make a permanent drain but when moving around it could be an adventure. Thank you for any input.

Denlor,
Go to a Camping World, there are "T's" made just for this purpose. I also have separate dumps under the sink and the bathroom so I needed the same thing. Seems like wherever there is a will there is a way, especially in the camping realm.

Good luck,
Jim

Denlor,
Thanks and congratulations on your purchase. Best of luck with the upcoming camping season, not that far away actually...and I say that as I look out my window at 15 inches of snow on the ground This will absolutely be our last winter in cold weather, the DW retires in April and plans as of now call for us to winter in the south, be it FL, AL, TX, or AZ, I guess it all depends on how close we are to any of those when that time of year hits LOL.

Consider attending the CR Rally in July at the Shipshewana Campground. We will be there and the person heading up the rally is actually one of your countrymen

Merry Christmas,
Jim

You will need several lengths of sewer hose and a y connector. Hook the sewer hose to each dump connection , hook them to a y connector and then have an additional 25' feet or so of sewage hose to hook to the dump station. A clear elbow or clear y is helpful so you can see what is coming out and if you have flushed clean when flushing. Remember even when sitting in place for a few months don't leave the black tank open all the time. Just dump it when it is at least 2/3 full. Grey can be left open, just build some water up in grey tank to flush through hoses after dumping black tanks.
